The summer is heating up at The Club and July is going to be a hot month, so come chill out, relax and have some fun. There are a lot of events going on in the city including a huge July 4th celebration. Go "Fourth" On The River is an annual celebration which features riverboat rides, music, food, a patriotic cake decorating competition and the famous dueling barges fireworks extravaganza on the Mississippi River. Join us on our sun deck for a spectacular view of the festivities.

The Essence Music Festival runs from July 4-6 and includes concerts by major artists at the Louisiana Superdome. Empowerment seminars are also featured. Visit www.essencemusicfestival.com for details. Speaking of tails, you have to experience Tales of the Cocktail being held this year at the Hotel Monteleone July 21-25. The weekend includes lectures, discussions, book signings, dinner pairings, cooking demonstrations, cocktail mixing seminars, a bar tending course, and a block party. Afterwards, stop by the Club and experience a different kind of "tail".
